Biography

Eleftheria Maria Thrasyvoulou was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus. She is a professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer.  In 2019 she started her degree in Dance at the University of Nicosia. Eleftheria in 2021 continued her studies in dance at the National Academy of Dance in Rome specializing in contemporary dance. As a dancer she has 18 years of experience in ballet, contemporary dance, modern and jazz. Moreover, Freedom is certified and registered with the 200HR Yoga Teacher Alliance through Himalayan Yoga Institute, London – and founder of ‘Equilibrio Yoga Classes’.

During her studies at the University of Nicosia she was taught by the professors Alexander Michael, Dara Milovanovic, Panagioti Tofi, Christina Patsalidou, Lia Charaki Pascal Caron. At the National Academy of Dance in Rome she attended classes with Alessandra Di Segni, Ricky Bonavita, Stefania Brugnolini, Paolo Arcangeli, Diana Damiani, Sara Lourenco and Ilaria Severi.

In the final performance of the University of Nicosia, called “BodyPrints 2022”, he participated in choreographies by Panagiotis Tofis – “A Land Of Her Own” and Alexander Michal – “Force Majeure”.

Her most recent award as a choreographer is at the XI International Festival – “ABANICO 2022” – winning first place in the dance category with the choreography “Lule Lule” and the conquest first place, at the “Angel Voice Live Festival of Serbia” with the choreography “Fever”. Also, in 2019, Eleftheria choreographed the musical theater performance of the Music Conservatory “Heliconas”, entitled “Never Enough. He also choreographed many choreographies for online competitions, and won major awards – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place – in Golden Voice Malta 2021, at Aphrodite Voice 2021 and at JAZZWIND. In addition, Eleftheria choreographed for Online Dance Competitions like World Dance Movement 2021, Osaka 2021 ‘International Online Competition in Japan”, “Magia Italiana” International Festival, etc.
